A real identity
An ABE, or AI Boundary Environment, is an ordinary OS user intended for AI use. Nyam discovers existing users as well as managing identities created through its interface.
Linux first / AI agency
Nyam manages ordinary operating-system identities and resource permissions for AI agents. An agent gets its own user and room to work, with authority configured by the human.

Native identities and permissions.
Visibility through a dashboard.
An ABE, or AI Boundary Environment, is an ordinary OS user intended for AI use. Nyam discovers existing users as well as managing identities created through its interface.
Access belongs to the OS identity. Changing an agent’s harness, such as Codex or Hermes, should preserve the user’s resource permissions. The operating system enforces its own access rules.
The protected gateway is designed to let an authorized identity use an external service without receiving its transferable credential. Identity, service, and credential permissions must agree.
Current development
Nyam’s dashboard brings together identities, folders, agent tools, services, and gateway configuration. Linux is the first platform; wider platform support is planned.
The implementation has live identity observations and specific verified operations. Complete agent installation, protected gateway operation, and permission enforcement still require further end-to-end verification. This is an introduction to the project, not a production security guarantee.
